The cleaning of extrusion dies is essential for their maintenance. However, it generates a a large quantity of environmentally unfriendly waste.

MTD offers to extract the residual aluminium by placing the extrusion die into a solution of caustic soda with a concentration of 25 - 35%, in accordance with the latest EHS requirements.
